Share your link
Copy your personal invite link or code from Referrals in the sidebar and send it to friends or colleagues.
They sign up with your link
Your friend creates an hCalls account using your link or enters your code at signup. Self-referrals are blocked.
Both get rewarded
When they activate their free trial, you earn +50 credits and they receive their trial credits plus a referral bonus.
Under the hood
What actually gets tracked when someone uses your invite.
Link or code
Your account has a unique referral code (for example REF-XXXXXX). Links look like signup with ?ref=your-code so attribution sticks through OAuth and email signup.
Trial then purchase
Trial activation pays the first bonus. If they later buy Starter or Pro, a separate one-time purchase bonus is paid to both of you.
Fair use
Self-referrals are rejected. Each referred user can trigger purchase bonuses once. Track status anytime in your referrals dashboard.
Program rules
- Use your unique link or code from the dashboard - don’t invent codes.
- Credits are interview minutes (1 credit ≈ 1 minute of active session).
- Referral bonuses never expire once added to your balance.
- You cannot refer your own account.
- Purchase bonuses apply once per referred friend on their first paid pass.
- Program amounts can be updated; your dashboard always reflects current rewards.

How do I get my referral link?
Sign in, open Referrals in the sidebar, then copy your personal link or code. Share it with anyone preparing for interviews.
When do I get my +50 credits?
You earn the trial referral bonus when your friend signs up with your link and activates their free trial - not merely when they open the signup page.
What does my friend get?
They start with free trial credits like any new account. With a valid referral, they also receive a referral credit bonus when the trial activates. Credits never expire.
Do I earn more if they buy Starter or Pro?
Yes. When a referred friend buys a one-time pass for the first time, they get a purchase referral bonus, and you receive additional credits equal to half of that plan’s credit pack (for example, +50 on Starter, +250 on Pro).
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No hard cap on invites. Each successful referral that activates a trial (and later purchases) can earn you bonuses according to the program rules.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are blocked. The referral code must belong to a different account.
Where can I track my referrals?
Your dashboard referrals page shows your link, total invites, bonuses earned, and who joined through you.
